Moving along...

We've been moving
things
into the new place
slowly
since my last blog post.
Feels good
to move at a
relaxing pace.

~ So far we've Sold ~

treadmill

modern/vintage side table
&
pie safe
i've decided to sell 2 wool rugs
made in india

 ( 1 large 10'10"x 7'9" & 1 smaller 5x7')
because
the colors
(gorgeous earth tones of greens, creams, cocoa, a little red clay, slate blue & mustard)
will no longer go with the
decor
i have in mind.
(i'll miss them)

i mentioned them in my last
craigs-list
ad
(no photos)
received a call for photos this morning
which i took
but
i walked out of the new apartment
without my camera.
(we brought the rugs there so i could decide if they would work)

i had
an
exciting day
thinking about all of the things
i want to do with our new home.
Jamie shut my camera off
(because i wasn't paying attention)
and told me
"not to forget it"
but guess what?...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

my back pain has progressed
onto
strange
new
happenings.

i started getting this tingling
(pins & needles)
in my left upper arm,
 shoulder & face
a week or so ago.
it then started in my left calf,
then my right.
then it was my whole body!

Today
it was gone
until
Jamie did my massage tonight.
it came right back.
i've done some reading online about it
and found
that it most likely has a lot to do with the nerve endings/damaged nerves
in my spine
(the bone spurs, bulging disc, arthritis, etc.)

frick-n scary
though.

Spine institute appt is coming up soon
(april 8th)

Jamie &
just hit our
11 year
anniversary
on friday.

still feeling
the love...

Doing the Happy Dance!

Our time has come ~
good things are finally happening ~
things we've wished 4 ~
 have come 2
fruition!

We've talked about an area that would
be perfect for both of us
to move
(thought it was out-of-reach)
 it's
our new home!

we wanted a
flat
with washer/dryer hook-ups
(we're both tired of 3 levels)
we got it!

a little brook runs through the yard
(we're on the backside of the building)
NICE
little plus!

The trees are so close
we will hear
the birds singing
every morning.
~ smile ~

we're on the 3rd floor
so
we'll be
up-there
with
those birdies
on the deck
enjoying
our
morning coffee.

one of our favorite
grocery stores is within walking distance.
the movie theater is practically in our backyard.
shopping is all around us
~ yet ~
we are in a
semi
country
feel
community.

our lease here
ends
~ April 30th ~

we have the new lease in hand
&
will have access
as of
tomorrow.

NO rent
is due
until...

MAY 1st!

She has given us
the rest of March
&
all of April...

FREE!

we can move in
sss-low-ly
:)

We have down-sized
considerably.

just sold
our treadmill.

selling
a very nice
antique
dining table.

We'll
finally
get to use
the dining table
Jamie
built b4 we moved here.
(this place has no dining area)

a pie safe.

modern/vintage end table.
and
a couple other items.

 it
feels
GOOD!

my work bench
will be in a room
shared
with the work-out
machine.
that's ok.
we'll make it work.

we couldn't be happier
with the way this is
falling
into place.

so unexpected.

such a relief.

feeling a bit blessed.

how nice
4
a change.

:)

___________________________

it's been another rough week.
i had a bad episode at 6am thursday morning.

an ER visit took place.

upon waking
my bp was 153 over 98.

 when the EMT arrived
it was 158 over 112
pulse was 112 bpm.

my doctor told me the day b4
"to take valium for the muscle spasms; i didn't need my
klonopin
(that i take for anxiety to sleep, due to pain)
because
it was basically the same thing"
(similar, but NOT the same - valium is a muscle relaxer - klonopin is for anxiety)

i told her "i thought i should take them together
(like i was told to do by another doc over a month ago, and worked well)
because i've been taking it 4 so long
i can't just stop!"
but she said
"No
you don't need both."
so i went against what i new to be right.

after 5 hours in the
ER
a good dose of
morphine & liq valium
i finally came home.
with
ANOTHER
script
for vicodin.

i decided
after 4 different answers
from 1 doctor & 3 nurses in the ER
and the one from
my doctor
about these meds
i will do
what
my instincts
told me to do to begin-with.

take what i know!

the vicodin will be kept around in-case
of an emergency
but
will most likely
get tossed
in the end.

holds breath until april 8th for the spine institutes visit...

PS ~
Jamie went out and purchased a huge ~ stiff foam wedge slant pillow thingy
for me to lay back on
(which works great for my back)
&
an
oh-so-soft
(but perfectly firm enough)
neck pillow
that can hold heat or ice.
They work perfectly together.
